EverCare to become a CO2 Neutral Certified Company
EverCare has received its CO2 Neutral Certification as part of its efforts to become a CO2 Zero company. The CO2 Neutral certification is a result of continuous actions in 3 different axes and underlines EverCare’s credible and verifiable action in its mission to reduce the CO2 footprint.
The certification is focused around 3 axes starting with a calculation of the current CO2 footprint, making commitments to reduce and monitor that reduction of the footprint and offsetting those emissions that have not yet been reduced to zero. Working with CO2Logic, an independent leader in supporting companies to take responsible, credible, and verifiable climate action, shows the seriousness of EverCare’s efforts.
The ambition to become a CO2 Zero company is a further extension of the Positive Reef Initiative, an initiative launched by Evercare in 2019 that revolves around education and scientific studies to understand the impact of Evercare’s products in aquatic environments while also supporting projects to restore damaged coral reefs in collaboration with Love The Oceans and the University of Leeds.
