Tenray

The Tenray® portfolio consists of three different grades of zinc oxide powders that each have been designed to exhibit distinct tailored performance in UVB, UVA and transparency.

Tenray® zinc oxides are safe UV filters, providing broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection to plastics and plastics packaged goods, coatings and textiles. Due to their ultrafine particle size, Tenray® zinc oxides can be used in transparent applications without jeopardizing on transparency.

Tenray® zinc oxides provide long term durability as they are photostable, heat stable and non-migratory. They combine all benefits of zinc oxide, such as the broad spectrum antimicrobial and odor controlling properties. As natural products, they are fully recyclable, reusable and compostable.

Tenray® Powders

Tenray® zinc oxide powders are available in both uncoated form and coated with organic silanes for ease of dispersion. The uncoated forms are food approved by FDA and the European Commission.

Tenray® products are available as ready-to-use masterbatches for optimal compounding results in plastics and textile applications. The Tenray® masterbatch range is based on Tenray® Z2 powder

Tenray® Dispersions

Tenray® dispersions are based on Tenray® Z2 powder and will allow Tenray® to be used in coatings for optimal formulation. Working with masterbatches and dispersions avoids the need for specific dispersion knowledge and equipment.

Tenray® DW-41 40 wt % Tenray® Z2 in dispersion in water
